The ARB state that architects must have a minimum £250,000 limit of indemnity. We work with well-established Professional Indemnity insurers and can arrange policies which can provide your firm with flexible limits of indemnity and wordings which meet the requirements of RIBA and the ARB. If your practice ceases trading and subject to you meeting certain underwriting criteria, we can also arrange a six-year block run-off cover.

As an independent broker we have built strong working relationships with a wide panel of specialist insurers in this sector and can assist you throughout the application process, helping best present your firm to the insurers and fully supporting you in the event of a claim. Subject to criteria, we can also arrange a free legal contract review for any collateral warranties and / or novation agreements you are asked to enter into.

*Limits are correct as of February 2021, please note that limits may change and we advise you check with your regulatory body to ensure you have the correct requirements at the time of taking out your policy. Please note, you are required to take reasonable steps to meet claims arising from professional business.
